S’orienter vers le HAAS, Hardware as a Service (le matériel en tant que service)
Le revendeur Dustin Belgium a récemment cherché à pénétrer le marché des entreprises et du gouvernement. Avec un succès considérable, elle compte des clients tels que Solvay, Imec, la SNCB et l’OTAN. Le moteur de la croissance devrait continuer à s’emballer puisque le chiffre d’affaires de 100 millions d’euros est en vue. C’est Alexander Goes, un habitant de Louvain, qui est aux commandes de l’entreprise.
Il a fait des études de sport, a été en classe avec le diable rouge Dries Mertens, a été personnalité de l’année lors des Channel Awards l’année dernière, le plus jeune de tous les temps car il n’a que 35 ans. Alexander Goes ne peut que dire « merci » en suédois, mais il dirige la branche belge de Dustin au départ d’une ville voisine de la capitale Stockholm.
Le Saint Graal
Au cours de l’été 2021, Dustin a racheté le revendeur Centralpoint pour 425 millions d’euros. Ce fut également l’impulsion immédiate pour jouer dans une division supérieure comme Infotheek, l’ancien Centralpoint se concentrait principalement sur les ventes de volume sur le marché des PME. Centralpoint avait également une image de cow-boy. « Il y a une part de vérité dans la perception », admet Alexander Goes. « Les gens nous considéraient comme un perturbateur du marché parce que nous vendions beaucoup de matériel remis à neuf, ce qui signifiait que les fournisseurs eux-mêmes n’étaient pas concernés. » La première réussite de Dustin a été de remporter un beau contrat de 54 millions d’euros sur quatre ans avec BOSA, l’agence de politique et de soutien du gouvernement fédéral, pour la fourniture de moniteurs et d’accessoires. Alexander Goes parle du « Saint Graal » qui lui a ouvert les portes de la crédibilité auprès d’un grand nombre d’autres entreprises. Pour les 85 employés de notre pays, l’accent est mis sur les petites entreprises, les grandes sociétés et toutes sortes d’organismes publics. « La Belgique est considérée comme un pays en pleine croissance. Aujourd’hui, nous représentons 3 % du groupe Dustin et ce chiffre devrait doubler.
Les technologies de l’information relèvent des ressources humaines
Le lieu de travail, en particulier, est au centre de l’attention aujourd’hui. Les fournisseurs sont HP, Dell et Lenovo. Pour Dell, Dustin a été le partenaire de l’année l’année dernière. L’approche « Hardware as a service » (Haas) est donc de plus en plus envisagée. « Pourquoi les clients devraient-ils se préoccuper de déballer des boîtes ? Les services de centre de données sont également au centre de l’attention. Fait remarquable, Dustin a réussi à convaincre une grande banque de confier la responsabilité de l’informatique aux RH. « Je suppose que ce ne sera pas une tendance », reconnaît Alexander Goes, mais dans le contexte de « l’informatique en tant que facilitateur » et de « l’apport de votre propre appareil », il s’agit d’une approche intéressante.
Et puis ceci : l’entreprise suédoise Dustin attache une grande importance au bien-être de ses employés et de ses enfants. Alexander Goes, par exemple, a récemment pris deux mois de congé parental à la suite de la naissance prématurée de son plus jeune enfant. Pas totalement déconnecté pour autant, « ma boîte aux lettres n’était pas surchargée lorsque j’ai repris le travail au début du mois d’octobre… »
