DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES​| About the role

We are hiring an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Presales Engineer to enforce our local presales team.

As a Presales Engineer you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional technical presentations and demonstrations.  You will work closely with our sales team, channel partners, and customers to identify business opportunities, develop winning proposals, and ensure successful deployment of our cybersecurity and cloud solutions.

​As a Presales Engineer, you will: 

• Engage with customers to understand their unique business challenges and objectives.  Provide technical expertise and consultative guidance to recommend appropriate cybersecurity and cloud solutions;
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams and vendors to design innovative and effective cybersecurity and cloud solutions that address customer needs;
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demo’s and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to showcase the value and functionality of our solutions;
• Foster strong relationships with customers, channel partners and vendors.  Provide ongoing technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle.  You will also take care of some implementations / professional services.  Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter for Exclusive Networks’ solutions;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies and industry developments related to cybersecurity and cloud.  Continuously enhance your technical knowledge of Exclusive Networks’ portfolio and understand how it fits within the broader competitive landscape;
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and channel partners to drive business growth and exceed sales targets.  Participate in sales meetings, training sessions and industry events to share knowledge and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE​| About you

The ideal Presales Engineer:

• Has an IT Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field;
• Experience as a Presales Engineer or another technical role in cybersecurity and cloud is a plus, but not mandatory;
• Is able to enforce the technical knowledge to commercial skills;
• Is adaptive, independent and proactive, and loves the dynamic world of cybersecurity and cloud, where no two days are the same;
• Has excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Is fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus;
• Continuously wants to grow on a technical level – with training courses, self study, hands-on experience – and is interested in cybersecurity and cloud technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM and vulnerability management.
