DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
Ready to dive into the dynamic world of business analysis? We’re seeking a rockstar Business Analyst Intern to join our fast-paced sales teams for our North region (Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway)!
You’ll be:

Get ready to:
- Generate and present market insights into our customers and vendors
- Explore and structure data to provide impactful insights to our business leaders, leveraging low/no-code tools (Alteryx, PowerBI, Qlik…)
- Be the Country Managers “quant” advisor: bring your country managers unique insights about the country top-line performance, sorting the anecdotal from the structural
- Provide continuous analytical support to all sales leaders (e.g., dashboard preparation, forecast consolidation…)
- Improve current commercial processes and setting-up new ones (e.g., forecast process, pipeline management, customer feedback monitoring…)
- Assist with data governance, ensuring every critical data point is as reliable as possible
- Leave your mark: explore and discover new value-added data tools (e.g, GenAI) that can help our teams sell more, faster and more efficiently
You will work closely with the North Regional Manager and his team of country managers, to conduct local analysis aiming at boosting sales and efficiency. You’ll also be part of the EMEA Business Analysts community, led by the EMEA Operations Director, sharing and scaling best practices.
Measures of success:
After 6 months of experience in our team, we expect you to be able to:
- Be the best source of truth regarding our North region top-line performance (sales and margin, past, present and future)
- Compute autonomously reliable analyses, both qualitative and quantitative, to identify root causes of main business challenges.
- Possess a full mastery of the Excel and PowerPoint toolkit, as well as several more advanced analytics and insight tools (Alteryx, QlikSense, PowerBI…)
- Effectively deliver oral communications, either through presentations or interviews, with limited overseeing of your manager
- Optimize our sales dashboards to drive our sales behaviors
- Understand how to best support North sales teams, while leveraging in the best way knowledge from the rest of EXN entities
- Prepare impactful written communications for local and global business leaders.
- Elaborate and monitor action plans addressing these challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Senior Business analyst
- Previous 24-36 months of relevant experience (Business Analyst, Sales Operations, Consulting, Internal controlling roles preferred)
- Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (knowledge of QlikSense, PowerBI or any other Data viz tool is a strong plus)
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English – Dutch is a plus
- Strong business-sense
- Most importantly, a strong desire to learn new skills and challenge yourself, within an already mature company.
